Vitamins with iodine for parrots
The bag contains a mixture of seeds soaked in an iodine solution. Iodine is an essential element that enables the thyroid gland to produce thyroid hormones which regulate important metabolic processes. Vitamins with iodine should become a permanent addition to your bird’s daily diet, especially if you have a budgerigar. Budgerigars  are particularly vulnerable to iodine deficiencies and related problems.
Due to the presence of iodine, this mix should not be fed separately. The contents of one package should be mixed with the following amounts of your bird’s regular food:
1 kg – for small parrots  (e.g. budgerigars);
0.5 kg – for medium-sized parrots (e.g.cockatiels).
The above amounts are for adult birds.
