The 4vets Allergy veterinary diet is a complete dietary food for dogs with symptoms of food allergy or intolerance. It contains one source of protein and an increased amount of Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids, so it soothes irritations, regenerates the skin and reduces inflammation. The diet reduces the risk of diarrhea caused by food intolerance caused by non-immunological factors. In turn, food allergy is the body's immune response to contact with an allergenic protein. Epidemiological studies on dogs have noted that the main allergens are beef, wheat, chicken, hen's eggs and soybeans. Symptoms of food allergy are most often skin lesions and, less frequently, gastrointestinal symptoms, which may or may not accompany those related to the skin. Both in case of allergies,

Recommendations:

Before administering the diet to your dog, it is recommended to contact your veterinarian to determine the dosage. Use for 3 to 8 weeks. If the symptoms of intolerance disappear, the diet can be continued indefinitely. The dog must be provided with constant access to fresh drinking water.

Features:

Dried brewer's yeast (source of prebiotics: mannanoligosaccharides and β-glucans)  - supports the immune system, improves digestion and ensures the dog's proper bowel movements. They are a valuable source of easily digestible vitamins and minerals, increase their pool in the food and improve their bioavailability in the dog's digestive tract.

Zinc and selenium  - affect regenerative processes, wound healing, skin and hair appearance. Allergy food contains zinc in the form of hydrated amino acid chelate, which is more easily absorbed by the body. Organic selenium produced by the Saccharomyces cerevisiae CNCM I-3060 strain increases the bioavailability of this element.

Grain-free  - the food is free of difficult-to-digest and often allergenic grains, the carbohydrate source has been replaced with a more digestible and healthier carbohydrate derived from potato starch.

One source of protein  : lamb is a source of complete protein with a high content of all exogenous amino acids with a high digestibility rate. Protein of high biological value is necessary to ensure proper absorption of all amino acids. Additionally, this type of meat contains valuable monounsaturated fatty acids.

Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids  - their high content in appropriate proportions determines the biochemical control of inflammatory processes.

Seaweed meal - provides valuable biologically active compounds and is a source of easily digestible proteins, carbohydrates, lipids, vitamins and minerals (K, P, Mg, Ca, Cl, Na, Cl, S).
